Advent Children is one of the sequels to the popular Playstation RPG,
Final Fantasy VII. Unlike any of the other games in the FFVII series,
Advent Children will be a DVD. Square has produced one movie in the past,
The Spirits Within, which was rumoured to be a terrible business failure
in the US. Despite this, there were many good reviews from those who did
watch it.
Advent Children is set in Midgar, one of the cities featured in the
original game. It was be released on September 14th, 2005 in Japan, in
North American and Europe on March
6th, 2006.
STORYLINE
Midgar, the once prosperous city that thrived on Mako energy, has been
reduced to ruins. To torment the inhabitants further, a mysterious illness
known as Geostigma has broken out. Bringing death to person after person,
and with no cure known, Cloud Strife, who left behind the life of a hero
for a life of peace must step forward once again.
