OVERVIEW
Final Fantasy X, released in 2001, marked another advance in the Final Fantasy series. Not only was it the first
installment on the Playstation 2, boasting significantly better graphics than its
predecessors, but it included many new features, such as voiceovers in addition to written text or subtitles.
Yes! They can speak! This remarkable new feature involves voiceovers being heard as a character
speaks. Although the voice acting is not considered first-class by many, this is a revolutionary change
in the series. In terms of graphics, the game is definitely impressive with the new "Facial Motion
System" enabling the characters to wear subtle expressions.
Other features worth mentioning include the sphere grid system and the blitzball mini-game. The
sphere grid is a map containing a multitude of skills. A character starts at one point in the sphere grid
and is able move from one point to the next at the expense of spheres, allowing that character to
learn more skills.
STORYLINE

mysterious force called Sin. He meets a beautiful, young Summoner known as Yuna, and with
the help of her guardians, they attempt to defeat Sin and bring peace once again to the world.

To the kingdom of the sun,
Across a vast sea,
The journey home begins...
