OVERVIEW
Final Fantasy X-2, the sequel to Final Fantasy X, was released two years
after its predecessor. It was the first true sequel in the Final Fantasy
series, set in the period of Eternal Calm, a couple of years after the action seen in Final
Fantasy X has ended.
One new feature of X-2 is the all-female cast: there are no male playable
characters. For a Final Fantasy game, this is a first. Other significant
features include the style of music, which comprises mainly of jazz or pop
music. Unlike Final Fantasy X, the battle system is more "active" and
fast-paced, instead of turn-based. The dress sphere system was also used,
although it has been seen before. Although many locations featured in
Final Fantasy X-2 were also seen in Final Fantasy X, many designs were
redone, such as the town of Kilika.
Overall, Final Fantasy X-2 has been popular, and although I have heard
many criticisms that it is not as good as Final Fantasy X, the adventure
and mission style system is an interesting addition and it's definitely
worth trying out this new addition to the series.

the traditions of Yevon, once revered and respected throughout Spira.
