Final Fantasy X-2, unlike the previous game, implements a job type system. In
this system, you player is able to collect dress spheres through different
events/missions in Spira. Most of these missions are side-missions, meaning that
you do not have to complete them in order to complete the game, however you may
want to either complete them for the dress spheres or to gain a 100% complete
game.
To use a dress sphere, you must set them to a result plate. Of course, you can
collect various ones throughout the game, and set certain dress spheres to them.
To learn more about them, please see the appropriate section. Once you have them
in place, you'll need to equip them to the character. Once you do so, they can
use any of the dress spheres on it in battle. You can easily change in battle by
pressing the R1 button.
Please do keep in mind, that in order to use a special dress sphere for each
girl, you will have to have used every single dress sphere on the plate at least
once. So, it would be best to use a plate that only has two dress spheres.
